Praise the Lord
We got wonderful results from the doctor today 2-24-09. His cyst is stable and unchanged. They said that because of his age and the results of the MRI, his cyst will not get any larger or cause further complications!!!! This means no SURGERY!!!! This is a miracle from God. Seven months ago, it was a completely different story. To Him be the glory forever!!!
We have to follow up with his neurologist, however they think that his seizures may be caused by a less aggressive childhood epilepsy. He will grow out of it!!!! He has to continue to be monitored every two years for the cyst, but the doctor said as his head grows, it actually should get smaller!!! Continue to please pray for the seizures. He still has to take meds for 6 -12 months and they will do further testing to see if he even needs it. he had zero seizures in the hospital.
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers and support. It is a blessing to have family and friends to stand beside you through these tough times. It has been a rough seven months, but God prevailed in the end as always.

*Thank you to all who donated their time, talents and treasures. No words could express how grateful we are for all that you have done for our child. Out of the four fundraiser's that we had (Kinder's, Texas Roadhouse, Car wash, Birthday Bash) we raised a total of $4,100.00. That money helped to pay Co-pays, Medicine, travel expenses for Doctor visits, unpaid medical leave for parents, food in hospital, and some medical bills accrued before insurance took over. Nicholas still has $900.00 in his account, which will be used to pay for his monthly seizure medication. Nicholas' website will continued to be updated, but donations are no longer needed. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we could not have done it without all of you!!!
